Content Approval

Keep the feedback beside the content.

Give your team one workspace to review copy and visuals. Gather comments alongside the draft and manage approval before publishing through your brand settings and team permissions.

Give an announcement one more look together

The product announcement is written and the visual is selected. One colleague is considering the wording while another checks the product information. Seeing the content in the same place makes it easier to understand which post the feedback belongs to.

The post’s review status, selected publishing time and channel versions. Sample data.

Review the post as a whole

A sentence can look right on its own and communicate something different beside the selected image. Considering copy, visual and target channels together helps the team make a more informed decision about the content.

You can continue the review in the workspace instead of moving the content into separate files and explaining it across message threads. The discussion stays focused on the post itself.

Give contributors and approvers distinct responsibilities

Team feedback stays alongside the draft. Users with approval permission can approve or reject pending content; publishing permission is managed separately. The person offering useful feedback does not have to be the person making the final decision.

In team use, the brand’s mandatory approval setting and users’ publishing permissions determine the available route. Approval and publishing are separate permissions; being able to view content does not mean being able to publish it.

Connect the review to the publishing plan

Review status and the publishing plan describe different aspects of the same post. Approval addresses whether the content is ready; the selected account and time show where and when it is planned to appear. Scheduling and publishing require the relevant account connection and publishing permission.

This gives the team room to answer two questions: is the content suitable, and where and when should it be shared? The review gives the publishing decision its context.

Your team’s way of working

Does every post need team approval?

When mandatory approval is enabled for the brand, posts require approval before publishing. Otherwise, your permissions determine which publishing and scheduling options are available.

Do I need this process if I work alone?

Individual mode has no team approval screen. Review the content yourself in the editor and make the publishing decision.

Will sending content for approval publish it?

No. It awaits a decision. Review, scheduling and publishing are separate actions.

The next decision: when to share it
